After spending a few days in Jersey for work, I headed to NYC for a long weekend. I crammed a weeks’ worth of walking, eating and fun in 3 days. Delicious donuts in lower Manhattan, Dinner with Evan in East Village, pizza in Little Italy and cupcakes in Georgetown with Anelise. Figured out the subway system pretty easily, thanks to the subway app and only got on the wrong way once 🙂 Thanks to a tip from my local designer friend George, I got on the Staten Island Ferry which took me straight by the Statue of Liberty and the Verazano-Narrows Bridge for free. Saving me $50 on the tourist trap. That $50 bought me a new pair of shoes. WIN!

After all the food, I walked the High Line in Chelsea, a recently remodeled elevated railroad track, full of beautiful flora, benches and Street Art. Then jumped on a ride share bike up to Times Square, where the Saturday Market was going on. After a bit of shopping,  I some how managed to take in The Guggenheim, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and MOMA in one day.
